Dining is always a special event at Vestal Nursing Center. Appetizing, tasty, well-balanced entrees are graciously served. Guests may choose their meal from a “Resident Council approved” menu that includes a main entrée as well as an alternate entrée for each lunch and dinner. Guests are encouraged to dine in our cheerful dining rooms with their friends. Room service is available when there is a medical necessity.

Special therapeutic diets are provided as prescribed by guest’s attending physician, and supervised by a dietician. Each selection is served with extra touches that add taste and visual appearance. All entrees are prepared in our kitchen savoring freshness, using natural ingredients and reducing salt. Clinical dietary staff monitors dining rooms to ensure each person’s satisfaction of their daily meal.

Family members may also enjoy sharing a meal or holiday meal in our facility. Advanced ordering of guest meals is appreciated. Nominal fees are charged and may be paid at the Reception Desk.

Each care community houses a kitchenette, which ensures constant availability of beverages and refreshments. Delicious snacks and nutritional supplements are provided per the request and/or need of our guests.

Holiday meals are celebrated with festive traditions. Special meals such as buffet breakfasts, picnic, Father’s Day Breakfast, Mother’s Day Tea, and Sweetheart Luncheon become social events and are greatly enjoyed by guests.
