Each resident’s care is provided in a team approach by highly qualified and experienced professionals. Residents and their family members are included in care decisions and goal setting through informal discussions as well as periodic team care conferences.

Medical Care

A licensed physician clinically manages each resident’s care by frequent, often daily visits to our health care center. Currently, our medical staff includes representatives from private practices, Lourdes Hospital and United Health Services. Nurse Practitioners are also available on a daily basis to assist with the coordination of medical care.

In case of an acute medical emergency, we are located only minutes away from the area’s 3 local hospitals.

Nursing Care

A Nurse Manager is responsible to coordinate and implement nursing care services on each of our Center’s six care communities.
	Unit Nurses and Certified Nursing assistants are assigned on a 24-hour basis. Our results include consistent quality care along with the development of close personal relationships.

Vestal Nursing Center provides an extensive list of additional clinical services and additional non-clinical services for our residents conveniently, right on our premises. Clinical services are provided by a dedicated team of staff, consultants and 3rd party vendors to ensure our guest’s comfort and well-being.

97% of our family survey responses reported excellence in staff understanding the needs of the residents, staff being pleasant and caring and involving family members with care planning and excellent quality care being provided.
